A Different Kind of Path to Real Estate

Most real estate agents will tell you they’ve always loved homes. Robert Wrieden will tell you something more interesting than that.

His career started in chiropractic care in rural upstate New York. When the housing crisis hit, he pivoted into surgical neurophysiology — spending a decade monitoring the nervous system during spine procedures in hospital operating rooms. It was exacting, high-stakes work that demanded precision under pressure and left no room for error. It also wore him down.

When his wife was in a serious head-on collision that left her with long-term disabilities, Robert made a decision: get out of the hospital, work from home, be present. He took on medical billing, pursued a Salesforce administrator certification, and began building the technical foundation that would eventually power his real estate business. He had gotten his first real estate license in Kentucky just before the pandemic and seen the basics of the industry. When the family relocated to Florida and his daughter was looking to buy, the pieces came together. He got licensed in Florida in 2025 and hasn’t looked back.

Why This Brokerage

When Robert started looking for a brokerage in Florida, he wasn’t looking for the biggest name or the highest split. He was looking for alignment.

He found it in Summer Wind Realty Central Florida Inc. Broker Greta Bost had been working with his daughter on a property, and through those conversations, Robert recognized something: a shared set of values, a commitment to doing right by clients, and a brokerage that needed exactly the kind of digital infrastructure and marketing systems he knew how to build.

Today Robert manages the brokerage’s entire online presence — website, CRM, blog, SEO strategy, and listing marketing — while actively serving buyers and sellers across Volusia and Flagler County.

The Road Ahead

Building a Family Legacy

Robert’s long-range vision is characteristically INTJ: get his broker’s license within two years, expand the agent team (possibly including his own children), and build Summer Wind Realty into a multi-agent family brokerage that can carry forward into retirement — and beyond.

Central Florida is his market. Daytona Beach is his home. This is where he plans to build.

Robert lives in Daytona Beach with his wife and is deeply rooted in his local church community. When he’s not working a transaction or building a website, you’ll find him playing guitar for the worship ministry at The Well Church, swimming, exercising, or spending time with family — several of whom have relocated to Central Florida with him.
